Playground, the sports events company, joins Citec
Citec, specialist in mobility for large events, has strengthened its position with the integration of Playground, an event engineering company. This merger broadens the range of expertise of the two companies, to the benefit of their customers, who will now benefit from recognized skills in the fields of accommodation, catering and transport for the organization of major events.

Citec invests in digital and has created Citec Digital to propose innovative solutions on Cloud, Big Data, mobility applications and geo-decision-making technologies. Frédéric Schettini heads Citec Digital as Director of Innovation.

Very active in Île-de-France, Citec wanted to strengthen its presence by creating the Citec Paris agency. Led by Francisco Luciano, Citec Paris brings proximity and knowledge of the local market, combined with the international experience of the Citec group.

In full boom, Citec opens 3 new agencies in Switzerland
Citec's local presence in the canton of Vaud is now ensured by a new local agency, led by Fabienne Verrey-Ochs. Citec Vaud aims to cultivate a close relationship with its customers and develop synergies with the universities of Lausanne. The Citec Jura and Citec Neuchâtel agencies opened their doors a few months later, under the direction of Julien Lovey.

Citec Valais: a new agency in Sierre!
Citec Valais opens its doors and guarantees a local presence from Sierre. Pierre Favre has been appointed head of the agency, with the ambition to develop skills in the tourism, mountain and mobility sectors.

Citec settles in Italy
After the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic Games, Citec has decided to continue its engineering services for major events in Turin. The Citec Turin team, led by Stefano Manelli, is very active on both local and international projects, such as nominations for world events (Olympic Games, UEFA Euro or FIFA World Cup...).

Citec Lyon a pour ambition d’apporter une réponse pragmatique « Swiss Made » aux problématiques de transports. Aujourd’hui cette ambition est toujours très vive et l’équipe dirigée par Cunxiao Zhang apporte quotidiennement des réponses adaptées sur des projets locaux comme internationaux.

Creation of Citec in Geneva
It was in March 1992 that Franco Tufo began his activity as a transport engineer specializing in urban planning. After graduating with Professor Philippe Bovy, he became one of his scientific collaborators at the Institute of Transport. Its mission since then was to place professionals in the context of a Post Master's training in Urban Planning. Strengthened by these experiences and after several interdisciplinary collaborations, he created Citec Ingénieurs Conseils SA in 1994 in Geneva. The quality of the services provided has quickly attracted both customers, who have entrusted their most varied problems, and talents, who in a few years will go from one to almost 100!
