MILAN – On April 21, 2022, Citec will host a morning seminar and share its expertise in the mobility of Large Events with students at Politecnico Milano.

Olympic Games, European Football Championship, Ryder Cup … from the bid to the D-day, how are these exceptional events organized? How do you manage the massive flows generated by these large-scale events? On Thursday, April 21, Stefano Manelli, Large Events Manager and Director of Citec Italy, will lead a three-hour seminar for students at Politecnico Milano as part of the Mobility Engineering Master’s program.

Mobility planning: Citec shares its experience on Large Events

Stefano Manelli has been active for more than 10 years in transportation planning and operations for Large Events. He has been involved in a wide range of activities in this field, acting as an expert on some 30 major international events (Olympic Games 2014, Olympic Games 2018, Olympic Games 2020, UEFA 2012, 2016 and 2020, Ryder Cup 2018 and 2022, FIFA World Cup 2018, Annecy 2018 bid, Paris 2024 bid, Milano-Cortina 2026 bid, etc). These international references make him a recognized expert and he is regularly invited to conferences and training sessions to present best practices in mobility management during Large Events.
