Lionel BonnardDirector of Operations and Interim Director of Citec Lyon
Lionel Bonnard, who holds a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Regional Planning and Development with a specialization in transport engineering from the University of Lyon 3, has 25 years of experience in mobility planning and public space development. After working as a project manager in the Roads Department of the Métropole de Lyon, he went on to work as an engineer and project manager in a consultancy firm in France and Belgium. He joined Citec in 2007 to drive the development of operations in La Réunion, before becoming Deputy Director of the Lyon agency in 2012. More recently, he created and managed a center of expertise in mobility within a planning consulting firm. In 2025, he joined Citec Group as Director of Operations to take over the interim management of the Lyon agency as well as the development of the group’s companies’ activities. He regularly participates in AGIR training sessions on the themes of cycling mobility.
