Cycling Master Plan and Strategy, Sion

Polarizing on its territory about 35,000 inhabitants and almost as many jobs, the city of Sion is characterized by a phenomenon of motorized traffic congestion on the road access network to the city center. Faced with this challenge, the City wishes to promote alternative forms of mobility, foremost among which: cycling. To this end, Citec is supporting the municipal authorities in the development of a master plan and a cycling strategy for the entire plain sector of the municipality of Sion. This master plan should allow, in the medium term, the establishment of a continuous, meshed, secure and attractive cycling network.
