GIACOMEL Gianluigi GGI

Gianluigi Giacomel, a geographer and geomatician specialized in transport and the links between mobility and spatial planning, is Citec’s Active Mobility expert. As part of his research activities at the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva , he has conducted over fifty studies, related to the challenges of soft mobility, public transport, and individual motorized transport, particularly in the urban contexts of the Léman metropolis. He has also published several articles and books on these topics and given various presentations at national and international conferences. After more than ten years of experience as a research associate and project manager in a university applied research laboratory specializing in transport, he joined the Citec team in 2019.
